This is the artist photos for the guitarist. I did the photo direction for him. The photographer was Sho Sato who worked with me for more than 7 years. Basically his style is Jazz. He won in a Gibson competition for guitarist when he was young. He is so talented so he plays not only Jazz also a variety of music fields such as POPs, Funk even Techno as well.
For the shooting, I wanted to show a neutral expression when people see the photo. In general, Jazz is a kind of classical and it has specific images so many Jazz images are very easy to recognise to be Jazz. But I thought this is not for him because his ability is not just in it but very colourful. That’s why I used some colours in the photos.
