Living in a hurricane prone area, I have learned to monitor bird activity for clues about the weather, I have no doubt whatsoever that animals, especially birds, can actually sense (and maybe even "hear") changes in atmospheric pressure, and for insects or ground animals maybe seismic waves. It's just frequencies outside of our ability to sense (and maybe NOT outside our capabailities if we "put our minds to it"). It is known that dogs can sense magnetic north. Bees? Who knows? Being that small means that one would have a wholly different relevant spectrum of frequencies and forces to monitor (something that superhero comics and movies always forget about). Always pay attention to animals, even domesticated pets, for clues about what's going on. I am not a pet owner, but I do believe that dogs can sense people with bad intentions versus those who are harmless. They just know. I'm sure that it's a frequency thing.
