The war is murderers of humanity versus humanity. Creating more murderers won't end this war. Besides, how exactly would anyone "arm the Palestinian people"? Drop them from space?

Dr Shiva is correct in that both aggressors (and in fact, ALL aggressors) are on the same side. But becoming aggressive isn't only counterproductive, it will simply put those new aggressors under the same rule as the current aggressors. The aggressors control the weapons. The aggressors control the machines of death. To become an counter-aggressor, one mustn't side with the aggressors.
