A major change that had been in testing for several seasons has arrived in Splinterlands! Perhaps not everyone participated, so it's worth remembering the tests and then explaining the change exactly.
A few seasons ago, the Splinterlands team started an event in survival mode to test the bracket system that would later be implemented in the modern format. Several times in my Splinterlands content, I reminded the community that this event would eventually end and that they should make an effort to participate.
In addition to the feedback, which was crucial in helping with the liquidity of matches and the difficulty of liquidity bots, and also in adjusting bugs that eventually appeared. This event had a prize of 250k glint upon completing 250 matches. It wasn't a simple task, it was time-consuming, but this amount of glint, which easily reached over 300k, is something that even the most advanced accounts in the game don't easily achieve.
The great news is that the bracket system has arrived in Modern, completely changing the reward system for this game mode and how players will build their decks. Now, with the division into brackets and each bracket having a card level cap, players will be able to build a deck specifically for a given bracket type. Let's now explore in more depth the main changes of this bracket system that has arrived in Splinterlands!
I'll be much appreaciated if you Votes, Reblogs or give any Tips. Thanks and have good reading! 🍀
Splinterlands Brackets arrived at Modern League!
This bracket system was voted on by the community and this change takes effect this season. There will be 6 brackets: Wood, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Champion. I don't know if this possibility will continue in the future, but it seems that because it's a new system, if you choose the wrong bracket - since it will have some very different card limits - you can reset, as long as you haven't advanced to another division, something we'll talk about later.
You choose the bracket you want to start in and then move up within it. Each bracket will have divisions from 9 to 1, and the player will have to move up. Each division has a rating range, and you will only advance to the next division after reaching the rating of the next division. Each division has a rating range of 500, so every 500 points gives you a new division, starting from 0-499 and going up to 4000+.
Each bracket will have a minimum and maximum card level. The big change in the minimum level starts to apply from gold upwards. The addition of a minimum level significantly changes the system, as there are cards like legendaries that can be used at lower levels, but for example, in the Gold Bracket you won't be able to use level 1 legendaries or epics.
In addition to this minimum, there will be a minimum set by the Archon. Units with a level below the Archon's level will also be unusable. This will force the player to plan their entire deck before moving to the next bracket.
Now we come to the Rewards, something of interest to a large portion of the players. In this system, reward distribution will work based on your Brackets and your Division; both matter. Therefore, even within the same bracket, the rewards in each division will be different. Furthermore, the same division in different brackets also has different rewards; the higher the bracket, the greater the reward.
There's also a leaderboard reward system, which requires at least 100 matches during the season. Regarding the SPS pool, there will be a different one for each bracket. In the Woods, it will be 1%, reaching more than half of the pool in the Champion with 53% of the SPS pool. It's worth noting that there's a minimum number of players required for the pool to be distributed to the MAX, and an individual cap of 2% of the pool.

Obrigado e boa leitura! 🍀
Splinterlands Brackets arrived at Modern League!
