Hi Hive!

I wanted to bring awareness to a great natural medicine that I have found to make a huge difference in my life and I know it can make the difference in yours as well.

If you struggle with PTSD and Depression or Anxiety like I do then this method of treatment may work wonders for you!

Pet Therapy! XD

Spending time with animals and pets is one of the most amazing experiences that always leaves me feeling inspired and empowered with love and joy.

Now I dont actually own any pets because I am homeless(praying for my RV deliverance cmon bitcoin jesus XD) at the moment but I do offer petcare services to my local area through Rover.com and the facebook marketplace.

I am blessed to have amazing friends who are capable of helping me out for a little while this winter with a couch to crash on.

Thank God for his people and their spirit and grace!

So this morning I woke up and had some breakfast. Nothing super special just some blueberry crackers with nutella and a swig of orange juice.

I hauled butt over to my clients place(about 10 minute bike ride) to see Mabel and Bear at the prescribed time on bike(hence the actifit tag but tbh excersize is also another form of natural medicine) and I spent 30 minutes with these two in the backyard playing and enjoying the beautiful day.

I have three more visitations with them this week and I am super glad to have these opportunities to get in a healthy bike ride and to see my two good friends Bear and Mabel.

According to healthline pet therapy is super beneficial so I pulled an excerpt from their page on the benefits:

"improving motor skills and joint movement
improving assisted or independent movement
increasing self-esteem
increasing verbal communication
developing social skills
increasing willingness to join in activities
improving interactions with others
motivating willingness to exercise

Other benefits of pet therapy include:

making you happier, lessening depression, and improving your outlook on life
decreasing loneliness and isolation by giving you a companion
reducing boredom
reducing anxiety because of its calming effects
helping children learn empathic and nurturing skills
improving the relationship between you and your healthcare provider" -https://www.healthline.com/health/pet-therapy#benefits

Lets not forget about getting out in that sun and soaking up some of those rays of happiness!

Or getting into a dogpile of puppy love!

If you are anything like me this life can be pretty difficult to deal with sometimes but taking time and taking steps to make your days worthwhile can make all the difference.

If you have any pets I would love to hear how they have impacted your life!

Much love and Thanks to you all for reading <3

Life is short so please lift me up in the glorious sun with an upvote, comment and share!
