The use of the personal computer has changed the lives of each of us entering overwhelmingly in the world of art.
The encounter/clash between art and technology could only give rise to this new artistic technique where what matters most is not so much the beauty of the work itself as its content or the idea that wants to convey to its audience.
Because Digital Art wants the viewer to become an integral part of the work, the viewer is not passive but can interact with the art and this contemporary technique can easily amplify the message it wants to give.
You may like it or not, but Digital Art has radically changed the attitude towards art of both artists and the public. The approach to art is different: it is no longer for a few connoisseurs but it becomes available to everyone.
Already Street Artists wanted to take works of art out of museums and free them by exposing them in the most degraded places of big cities just to make them accessible to as many people as possible.
Now that Street Art is recognized as an artistic form that reflects our times, the murals that were once repainted by public institutions, today they are the ones who request the intervention of Street Artists to combat the degradation of urban centers too cemented.
So it's only a matter of time before Digital Art will be assimilated by the community and its form and existence will no longer be questioned.
All you need is a computer, the internet and a lot of imagination to create and spread digital artworks.
There are no limitations on the software that can be used to create a work of digital art, what counts is the ability of the artist to manipulate and shape the pixels of an image as he likes to transform a work of graphics into a masterpiece of Digital Art.
