After climbing from the pit, we defeated a heavy raider and unblocked a fallen pillar using blade latches. After freeing a stuck rope with the Leviathan Axe to slide across, we fought off frozen raiders using my newly unlocked flame abilities before burning through red brambles to advance.
We resumed our march across the snow-covered landscape after I climbed out from the dark pit. I continued following Atreus though for a moment, it looked Atreus was the one following me there.
A massive raider stepped out to block the trail ahead, wielding a large health bar, but he collapsed quickly under a barrage of heavy attacks, as you can see, Both me and Atreus were attacking the enemy heavily.
Another raider lunged forward, so I commanded Atreus to provide arrow support while I whipped out the Blades of Chaos, setting the enemy ablaze while Atreus closed into melee range to assist.
Continuing along the path, we encountered a fallen stone pillar blocking our way that Atreus noted was standing on his last trip through.
I hooked the Blades of Chaos into the structure and hauled the pillar aside, clearing a gap for us to pass through before pulling it back to block the path behind us.
Spotting a corpse resting on lower ground nearby, I climbed down to inspect the area and gathered some loose Hacksilver.
Moving toward our destination, we reached a zip-line that was jammed.. I threw the Leviathan Axe at the rope to cut the obstruction free. And then I worked on a machinery to make the rope slide useable for us.
We were allowed to hook onto the line and slide across to the next platform. The surrounding area was strewn with dead bodies, prompting Atreus to urge us forward.
Seconds later, a fresh wave of raiders burst out from the frozen ground to attack us.
I charged the Blades of Chaos, started igniting the metal before swinging into the incoming hostiles.
To test out a newly unlocked skill, I ignited a raider from afar, causing the flames to jump across and ignite adjacent enemies.
While Atreus picked off targets with his bow, I threw the Leviathan Axe at a raider shooting from a high ledge, taking him down instantly.
After clearing the remaining force, I realized too late that I could have uprooted those heavy marked trees around to hurl into the fray.
With the arena finally clear, I stepped up to a wall of brambles and ignited them with my blades to forge a path ahead, while Atreus just waited for his old man to make him a path.
That's all for this session. More moments coming soon and thanks for checking it out.
