Well, I do listen if I'm interested...especially if they're talking about history. It's just so fascinating to me when I get to know how they're able to live in that era. And yes, I agree with you on how important it is for us to have that interest in our culture—especially with all the modernization that's affecting how we view our cultures and customs. For, as one of my history teachers said, it's the past that shaped our future; we won't be here now if it weren't for our ancestors who strove in molding the present we have now.
