While on the BBC* News website I've just seen the sad news that British comedian Ken Dodd has died.
For those of you who have never heard of Ken Dodd, he was a British stand-up comedian and presenter who was most popular in the 80's & 90's. His sytle of comedy was very British with plenty of quick-witted one-liners and innuendo. He was known for his 'tickling stick' comedy prop which was a simple feather duster.
The reason I'm writing this blog post is that I am certain I remember him dying years ago. In fact, I distinctly remember all of the tributes that went out to him with people holding a feather duster. Tributes just like the ones I'm seeing now on the BBC website.
It feels like I'm losing my mind.
I vary rarely believe anything I read on the BBC website but this would be pushing their fake news and lies a bit too far. HaHa
I'm starting to question myself even though I am certain of this memory.
Is this another one of them Mandela Effects that people are talking about? Isn't this how the Mandela Effect started with people having a clear memory of Nelson Mandela dying 10 years earlier?
I never intended to post a topic like this on here but this news has shocked me and I need to know if anyone else has the same memory?
Please tell me I am not alone.
