yeah, I've not posted for a while... numerous reasons.. time being the main factor..
So here's a few bits of work that I've done over the last few months (yep its been that long)
The ever brilliant Aiden..... This was a strange shoot... In which for the first time ever, a member of the public started to question us...
'Have you got permission?' he asked.... Well with me shooting in a public place, (a park) we don't need it mate, I replied....
More accusations came (you can imagine where he was heading) , and I advised him to ring the police, they never turned up. I told him to fuck off, and we moved on from the first part of the shoot onto the main course - the powder..
So, shooting a powder shoot outdoors is a bit more challenging than I thought it would be, mainly due to the ambient light... You can't control it, but on the upside.. you dont have a studio to clean up afterwards!!!
So, we initially tried high speed sync flash, however the refresh time wasnt brill and we ended up missing shots, so reverted to the led panels and see what they would bring..
A lot more shots, I was shooting on the r6 and that gives near on 20 shots per second.. so we didnt miss any 'poses'.. Remember that these are dynamic shoots and it is a bit of a case of 'spray and pray' in getting the shot with the arms / legs etc in the right place at the right time..
I think we did alright overall... Will try again in the future.
