I totally agree. Yeah for the median/whales it's impossible with a constant number of posts and a constant HP. If the number of posts decrease you could have an increase in median (as there's less posts)

Great writing. This was a pleasure to read, thanks ! The bit about the Amazon SMF chant though, is that a joke ? Damn, they got no f*king limits.

Yeah, we don't disagree. "and if this isn't merely an artifact of transition but a durable paradigm shift, it's a dramatic increase in decentralization of stake, which will affect governance"

I think that's the best attitude :D Clearly Steemit Inc. (and the Steem blockchain) are now without anyone with a deep technical knowledge of the blockchain, and it might take them some time to fix this

Yes, but voting the return proposal cancels out the vote I cast on the proposal(s) I want to support, while downvoting all other proposals. I don't know exactly what should be done to better the HPS I

Thanks you ! :D

Thanks for the statistics, but it might be a bit too soon to draw conclusions on the subject. Maybe median payout is higher only because there's less posts... (Activity is divided by 2 if same amount of

Yes, I just prefer to lurk here though, not interested in creating a blockchain or whatever, there's enough of them out there already. I'm more of a spectator. But I hope problems of stake distribution

Just high on the whiff of liberty ! Yeah I could, but to be frank, I don't think all this is retrievable. I'm more eager to see (if that's still on the table) what @theoritical (and the whatever blockchain

I have looked at them... Couldn't find the downvote button though :D For me, only the anyx one is good (and cheap) as it concerns real needs of solid infrastructure. The rest is just milking...

Let's fork again ! In fact not really a fork... This time, let's start from scratch (just keep the code) : new chain, new witnesses, new balances. No bad history, no bad actors. A blockchain of the people,

I agree. Seems like people always want to get paid as much as possible up-front. I haven't seen anything done around here that should be valued 100k/year. I'd like to see (as some claim to be developers

Yes, and also Splinterlands / Steem-Engine. I don't remember statistics on Steem, but I think it must be like 40% (or more) of all transactions on the blockchain. I think those two apps migrating will

Yeah, need a little more time for everything to stabilize and really see how the activity split between the two chains and how it plays with time. It will be really interesting to follow. But if the

Any statistics on Hive ? Did all the activity is now on Hive or has the activity dropped for both blockchains ? This information would be needed to have a clear view on this matter. Maybe the hardfork

I hope so. There's already talk about SMTs (or whatever the name they'll have) being implemented as soon as possible, among other things... The future is brighter now than it was on Steem, but will it

Kinda hard to predict. Before JS, STEEM price was dropping, even when Steemit Inc. stopped the monthly sell of their stack to fund their activities. On this basis, and with no major changes for now, there's

Bittrex also launched BTC-HIVE and BTC-HBD Trading Pairs

Good news, finally some liquidity and some opportunities to buy more HIVE !
