“Compression vs Decompression” by Richard F. Yates

This post represents DAY EIGHT thru DAY ELEVEN of my INTENTIONAL PROJECT. (Monday thru Thursday.) This has been one of those ridiculously busy, compressed, slam-bam of a wham-jam kind of weeks… BUT we all seemed to have survived… We lived to tell the tale!

Still reading and enjoying that quite a bit. I’m bouncing between books on magic and psychopharmacology, cryptids, and various comics. I tend to read MOSTLY at night. My ability to pay attention has diminished over the years, so that even the slightest distraction breaks my concentration, making it nearly impossible to retain what I read during a typical, rambunctious day.

In other news, Mariah and I are heading to Seaside, Oregon, tomorrow to attend the Oregon Ghost Conference! We’re pretty excited. As a student of folklore and religious studies, an event like this is bound to reveal some fascinating belief systems and cultural concepts! (Plus, ghosts are cool...)

Because this week has been such a crush, I’ve barely had time for any artz... But “barely” means some, so here are a few pieces I DID manage to get published...
