Eso he leÃdo, que el miedo (al menos desde la salud mental) no es irracional, sino una respuesta adaptativa ante la incertidumbre. Y que el bucle de miedo, irascibilidad, descontrol y silencio que mencionaste es algo que muchos viven en soledad.
Me conmovió lo del papel de pañuelo humano y contención. No creo que sea fácil mantener la templanza al estar bajo esa incertidumbre, pero de todos modos eliges la verdad, la compañÃa y el silencio en lugar de falsas esperanzas.
Creo que es lógico que el miedo persista tras los resultados del PET-CT, pero los hechos (como los órganos limpios) sirven de sostén. Espero que la nueva endoscopia afine el diagnóstico.
Fuerza para ambos. También espero que puedan volver a esa vida sana que anhelan, pero también que sigan construyendo ese apoyo mutuo que están cultivando.

I've read that fear (at least from a mental health perspective) is not irrational, but rather an adaptive response to uncertainty. And that the loop of fear, irritability, loss of control, and silence you mentioned is something many experience in solitude.
I was moved by what you said about being a human tissue and providing containment. I don't think it's easy to maintain composure while under that uncertainty, yet you still choose truth, companionship, and silence over false hopes.
I think it's logical that fear persists after the PET-CT results, but the facts (like clean organs) serve as a support. I hope the new endoscopy will refine the diagnosis.
Strength to both of you. I also hope you can return to that healthy life you long for, but also that you keep building that mutual support you are cultivating.
