The Bible Dictionary defines the word valiente as follows: It refers to the person who has a determined character and faces difficult and dangerous situations with courage or courage is a brave and audacious woman.
In this sense I want to touch the story of Josue in the book of Joshua 1: 9: "See that I command you to be strong and courageous, do not fear or be dismayed, because Jehovah your God will be with you wherever you go".
Sometimes we feel an inner death like the one that Joshua felt when Moises died, and the Bible tells us that Josue was left alone and hurt in the most intimate part of his heart because he felt lonely and helpless. Sometimes some of us have felt this way every time we receive a hard news in our lives we feel an inner death like the death of josue. However, the Bible shows us that after something dies inside of us, God begins to use us.
God, " the brave" begin to use after he dies something in his life. Definitely we have to let die in our lives everything that does not let the purpose of God be fulfilled in us. (JOHN 12:24) argues these words
"Truly, truly, I say to you, if the grain of wheat does not fall to the ground and dies, it remains alone, but if it dies, it produces much fruit."
The grain of wheat is, first of all, Jesus himself. Like a grain of wheat, He fell to the ground in his passion and death, has reappeared and has borne fruit with his resurrection, likewise we have to let die on the human and spiritual plane all that prevents the purpose of God to have life and transformation which comes by faith and the work that Jesus did on the cross, if he does not accept the cross, but rather he is clinging to his natural way of being and his selfishness, everything will end and God's plans will die with us. For this reason we must overcome our weaknesses and grasp this promise that God gave to Joshua and is latent in his people for us.
After Moses dies, Josue is left adrift looking for the line of God, but after he dies something in your life is that God uses you for great purposes, as shown by the verse quoted in John 12:24,what prevents the fulfillment of God's purpose in our lives. you have to let die that prevents multiplication in the kingdom of God because all of us have seeds of life that can germinate only when faced with the possibility of being buried so that in the process of death and decomposition the seed becomes a multiplication of life
¡and I push you to courage to determine with the forces of God that with Him everything is possible!.
What is it really to be brave? Is it being a super man or a super woman? A woman who is not afraid of anything? A woman who does not cry who faces everything without the slightest weakness? Or a weak woman who is afraid that she knows that she has a giant stronger than her and that with her weakness she seeks God ?.
What is being a brave? to be brave is not to take the world ahead is not to be strong and not have weaknesses, but to overcome our weaknesses, we are not perfect and we have things to change every day
It is proven that there is no courage if we have not recognized the fear before that situation in which we have decided to be brave. When we do not recognize the risk of a situation, and do not reflect on its consequences, we can be reckless, but not courageous.
a brave woman or a brave man is one who understands his condition and seeks God with all his heart because he knows that he is weak and can not achieve his goals alone
When Moses died everything was left to Josue but Josue was not ready for this because God had told Joshua you were going to be conqueror of the land, Josue had been left alone looking for guides and God gave him three three strategies that can help us we
God told Josue: "Look, I'm sending you to make an effort, be brave and do not lose heart."
God sends Joshua to spread his word to humanity, and become a delivery boy of his grace
Delivery man. When God fills you with a word, he makes you a delivery boy, sow the seed in someone, ...Jesus wants to open our hearts to the logic of the Father's love, which is free and generous. Human thoughts are often marked by selfishness and personal interests and our narrow and tortuous ways are not comparable to the broad and righteous ways of the Lord, but He invites us to give grace of what we have received to give of love that the gives us so that humanity recognizes that Jesus lives in us...
Say no to temptation, keep the commandments and keep the laws that God told you and do not bow before the temptations to reach your conquest. Love those who offend you who criticize you learn to love them to sow love
God sent you to something gave you a word, I command you to be brave
Being brave is not the absence of fear. Being courageous is being afraid but finding a way through it, and the only way is Jesus Christ.
