God gave us guidelines for managing money because he loves us and cares about us. The Lord knew that we need wisdom to use the money that is why He revealed in the scriptures the principles about work, profits, expenses, savings, investments, giving out of debts and teaching.
What should be given to children about how to handle money.
If people have been taught something about the way God expects money to be handled, it usually refers to giving. Although giving is very important, they are rarely taught the principles of winning and spending. Therefore, the people of God have been managed more according to the perspective of the world, instead of that of God.
A basic criterion for living as a Christian is in the Bible in Romans 12: "Live not according to the criteria of the present time, but according to the will of God, which is good and perfect"
Three reasons why God talks about money:
1.- The way in which we handle money is an external expression of an internal spiritual condition. Luke 16:10"He who is faithful in very little, also is most faithful in the most, and he who is very unjust in a very little, also in the most unjust."
2.-The way in which we administer money affects the intimacy of our relationship with Christ. Luke 16:11 "For if you were not faithful in the unrighteous riches, who will entrust to you the true?"
3.-Money competes with Christ for the throne of our heart. Matthew 6: 24. "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or esteem the one and despise the other, you can not serve God and riches."
Being a Christian in today's world seems somewhat contradictory. Well, you have to understand that having money is not bad but the place that you give in your heatr.

Psalm 50: 10-12.
"For mine is every beast of the forest,
And the thousands of animals in the hills.
I know all the birds in the mountains,
And everything that moves in the fields belongs to me.
If I were hungry, I would not tell you;
Because the world is mine and the fullness thereof".
2.-God is in control. Psalms 135-6 "Everything Jehovah wants, he does, In the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and in all the depths."
The function of the human being
1.- We are stewards of God's possessions. Stewardship means managing the possessions of others. Psalm 8 "O LORD, our Lord, how glorious is your name in all the earth!
You have put your glory on the heavens. "
2.-We must be faithful I Corinthians 4: 2 "Now, it is required of the administrators, that each one be found faithful."
3.- In fidelity, God blesses us. John 14:21 "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself unto him."
The job.
1.-God created the work to benefit us. (Genesis 2:15)
