The Bible constantly tells us about forgiveness since forgiveness is a response to God's love and a key to achieving full freedom in all areas of life.
We often hear about forgiveness and biblically it is one of the most discussed topics on a spiritual level because Jesus himself spoke to his disciples about the need to forgive, because it is impossible to achieve salvation if we do not forgive.
Forgiving is not easy for someone who does not know the importance of God in their life and it really is brave the person who decides to forgive since forgiveness is a decision.
To forgive and to ask for forgiveness frees the soul since this decision really makes you truly free. Many people today are tied and sick for lack of forgiveness.
I say that forgiving is not easy because in life we suffer or go through many tribulations that cause us very strong wounds and make us vulnerable and rebellious, but even so God commands us to forgive regardless of the severity of the injury.
¡Look what the Bible says!
Mark 11:25
"So that you tolerate one another and forgive yourself if anyone has a complaint against another. Just as the Lord forgave you, forgive you also. Supporting one another, and forgiving one another if one has a complaint against another. that Christ forgave you, so do you. " ( NVI)
Forgiveness is not easy and I think it is brave since it is not about the seriousness of the cause for which we are injured or injured, because it is not that we will forgive according to the offense.
Example if we discuss something, we let the offense pass soon but if the situation is more difficult and the damage received is more serious then we cannot forgive and this is not really what the Bible tells us God commands us to forgive whatever the offense is or the wound
For forgiveness there is no age or time or quantity
In this regard the apostle Peter asked Jesus how many times he should forgive and this is what He answered:
Matthew 18: 21-22
"Peter approached Jesus and asked," Lord, how many times do I have to forgive my brother who sins against me? Up to seven times? "" I don't tell you that up to seven times, but up to seventy-seven times, "he replied. Jesus— Then Peter approached him and said: Lord, how many times will I forgive my brother who sins against me? Up to seven? Jesus said to him: I do not tell you until seven, but even up to seventy times seven. "

We must forgive as many times as necessary to be able to live in peace with God and men also with ourselves.
