Corporations and capitalism could be considered pyramid schemes if you think about it. Sure there's a lot of hype nowadays. But the current generation isn't shy to spend their coin on games. Even before blockchain and ownership actually made it worthwhile.

It always amazed me how much money was involved in world of warcraft and games like clash royale. Especially people selling accounts after leveling them or just third party markets for game currencies.
Now that we can actually own and trade, share, rent etc. this adds real value and I don't think it's going away soon. Will it still be splinterland in 10 years time? maybe not, others might surpass it, but right now it's pretty great if not the best example.
