I never would have thought I'd feel this way about the U.S. But I tend to agree with your opinion about it. Trump was a symptom, not a cause. Half the population there is so busy denouncing "fear tactics" about covid that they can't see they're succumbing to fear tactics about government. I'm first to agree that Biden isn't the ultimate answer. Change has to come for the people by the people, and so far half the nation shows no interest in understanding what needs to change. So yeah...for now, I'm out. Not by choice at first, but over time, very much so. It's a mad world. I hold little hope of it ever returning to "normal."
