Greetings, Hivers!

Probably the exhibit that caught my attention the most at the entire entrepreneurship fair was the one dedicated to analog film photography and darkroom printing. In fact, seeing them at work was what brought me to the fair in the first place, and I'm glad it did because I ended up discovering many other fascinating local projects as well.

The friends from Píldora Roja are passionate about keeping analog photography alive. They restore cameras from past decades, some of them more than a hundred years old, and with dedication, creativity, and plenty of ingenuity, they bring them back to life. Using improvised materials when necessary, they continue producing wonderful images where technique and artistry go hand in hand.

Today I'd like to share a few photographs of them while they were working, along with some of the beautiful results they achieved. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed watching the process.

Probablemente el emprendimiento que más llamó mi atención de toda la feria fue el dedicado a la fotografía química analógica y al revelado e impresión de imágenes. De hecho, fue verlos trabajando lo que me llevó hasta el lugar, y me alegra haber ido porque terminé descubriendo muchos otros emprendimientos que también me sorprendieron.

Los amigos de Píldora Roja promueven la cultura de la fotografía analógica. Restauran cámaras de otras décadas, algunas con más de un siglo de antigüedad, y gracias a su esfuerzo, conocimientos e ingenio logran devolverles la vida. Incluso utilizando materiales improvisados cuando hace falta, consiguen crear imágenes maravillosas donde se unen el arte y la técnica.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes algunas fotografías de ellos mientras trabajaban, junto con parte de los resultados que obtuvieron. Espero que las disfruten.
