Yes, definitely, this is a post where I chose the kind of photos I like best; those where everything seems to say "this is Jesús Linares looking at his town"... And today was a day of hard work and little profit (lately it's almost like this every day here) because I had to spend several hours on the streets making deliveries and collections, and not everyone has the money to pay, and not everyone orders the same quantities of products as before, and the already precarious economy of the town seems to be shrinking even further. To make matters worse, I didn't bring my camera, as it had been drizzling frequently all day, and I went out on my wife's old scooter, barely protected by a waterproof jacket, which, moreover, made me feel like I was inside an oven, as it was quite hot... Then, around 5:00 PM, I finally returned home, showered, ate something light (a couple of crackers with cottage cheese and a coffee), and was able to lock myself in my studio to do what I love most: sit in front of my PC processing and editing my photographs while listening to some instrumental music or the occasional mantra... And that's how I "cathartically released" myself and stopped thinking for a while about the day's events... >**E**sta es una publicación con fotos de calle cotidianas y aleatorias, y en blanco y negro, y con personas, y con detalles cercanos y con recuerdos e incluso historias... Sí, definitivamente, esta es una publicación en donde escogí fotos del tipo que más me gustan; esas en donde todo parece decir "este es Jesús Linares mirando su pueblo"... Y precisamente hoy fue un día de mucho trabajo y pocas ganancias (últimamente es casi a diario aquí así) pues me tocó pasar varias horas en las calles haciendo entregas y cobranzas, y no todos tienen para pagar, y no todos piden iguales cantidades de productos que antes, y la ya precaria economía del pueblo parece comprimirse aún más. Para colmo, no llevé conmigo mi cámara, pues estuvo lloviznando con frecuencia todo el día y salí en la vieja scooter de mi esposa, apenas protegido por una chaqueta impermeable, la cual adicionalmente me hacía sentir como si estaba dentro de un horno, pues había bastante calor... Entonces, ya a eso de las 5:00 PM retorné finalmente a casa, me duché, comí algo ligero (un par de galletas con queso requesón y un café) y pude encerrarme en mi estudio a hacer esto que tanto me gusta, sentarme en en frente mi PC a a procesar y editar mis fotografías mientras escucho algo de música instrumental o uno que otro mantra...
