On the 18th of January we left for Bandarban and Cox's Bazar. We do a lot of planning before going somewhere. Nowadays everyone is very busy, some are working in different places. That's why it's very difficult for everyone to be together. After a lot of planning, we decided not to visit on the 18th. We had already bought all the defenses needed to roam the Bandarban hills. After our departure from Kushtia by Benapole Express train around 5 PM, we reach Kamalapur railway station around 9 PM. It was 11 am when we reached Bandarban city. Everyone was tired by traveling a long way.
I went to Bandarban once before. It was hot at that time. This time I went in winter. Winter is the perfect time to trek in the hilly regions. However, after we reached Bandarban city, we went to the hotel we stayed at the previous time. Our manager Mr. Sagath Bhai booked the hotel. We sat in the hotel seating area hoping to get some relief from the tiring moment. After sitting there, I didn't want to get up. However, the manager allowed us to go to the room. We were probably in room number 105 on the third floor. After keeping everything fresh, everyone lay down on the bed. Sagar Bhai said now is not the time to sleep, we should go down and eat and leave.
In fact, when the desire to roam is strong. After a long journey, the tired body does not want to go anywhere. However, according to the manager's instructions, we all got ready and went down and finished eating and drinking. Then you have to rent a moon car and go out. There were many cars near the hotel as many people came and asked where to go? Sagar bhai fixed everything. I visited a few spots that day. Last time I went to the Meghla tourist center for the first time. This time it was no exception. First not far from there at Geelum Meghla tourist center but very close. It is very nice when you can go around the mountain roads in the moon car. We all had a lot of fun going down from the top and going up from the bottom. Standing on the chariot of the moon. Enjoyed the beautiful view of the hilly area from the top of the car. We reached our first destination Meghla tourist center. I went and saw that many tourists came to visit.
After getting down from the car, the manager went to the ticket counter and cut the tickets for nine of us. Then he gave tickets to everyone. After entering the Meghla tourist center, you have to descend from a very high hill. Then there were hanging bridges, many big mountains, there were cable cars, hanging bridges, natural lakes, and zoos, canteens, many shops of the small ethnic groups of Chakmas. I will try to share them in the next episode. When we first entered the suspension bridge, there were many people. One has to move very carefully on the hanging bridge because after moving a lot, I crossed the hanging bridge very carefully and continued to move forward. Many beautiful natural lakes looked great to enjoy during winter. I will try to share more beautiful scenes with you in the next episode.
