I want machines to take over the repetitive and monotone jobs. But why would I celebrate the current trend of AI taking over everything creative? Repetitive jobs like growing food, building and so on, are mere necessities, that us humans have to do to survive. If those things could be automated (which often times they still can't; it's just work that gets somewhat simplified with tech) it would be a great win. More people could live their passion and enjoy creative tasks. But what we currently see, is exactly those creative tasks getting taken away by AI. I don't want to watch an AI movie; I don't want to read an AI-written article. I don't want AI to write my article! The things that make us human should stay human!
