January 2025 was a new month in a new Year of 2025 and I had lots of hope and ambitions coming into this month. However unexpectedly the majority of my work went this month into my Adsense approved website liquidocelot.com because Medium.com had an issue with earnings per read which started after the 8th of January 2025 which affected the income of a lot of writers on the platform. Lets start with the earnings report which will be categorized in three platforms:
- YouTube
- Medium.com
- Google Adsense For Wordpress Website
YouTube
I started promoting my YouTube videos on various subreddits once again in the month of January 2025 and the results were really awesome to see because my total views touched almost 9k and also my watch time was almost touching 120 hours so my tried and tested promotion method did not fail once again. Unlike previous months I made a total of 12 long form videos and 1 YouTube shorts video however none of these video got good traffic from the algorithm still it helped my YouTube channel getting more active.
So my total earnings on YouTube for the month of January 2025 was 12.42 dollars.
Medium.com
Five months before January 2025 my average income from Medium.com averaged around 40 dollars a month but in January the earning per read were severely affected which resulted in a shocking earning per read of round about 1.8 cents per read so even though I had more than 400 reads still I failed to reach the payment threshold of 10 dollars. So my total earnings on Medium.com in the month of January 2025 was only 8.07 dollars.
Google Adsense For Wordpress Website
In 2023 I worked really hard on my website liquidocelot.com and somehow managed to monetize it for Google Adsense so I worked really hard in the month of January 2025 to get traffic to it from Reddit however since I have no experience of self promoting my wordpress website on Pinterest and also was having issues to get google and bing search traffic organically to my website I only could manage 1k views which resulted in a mere 0.59 dollars. One of the reasons for this low amount of RPM per thousand views was because my wordpress website was hit by invalid traffic which resulted in unusual high click through rate so I had to turn off ads for over two weeks during the month of January 2025; if you are interested in seeing more stats for my wordpress website you can check below in the screenshot.

Conclusion
I February 2025 my aim is to continue focussing on my Google Adsense wordpress website so it starts getting more traffic from social media platform like Pinterest so the idea is simple in theory what I need to focus this month is to create 20 pins for one blog post link and this requires spinning multiple titles using chatgpt and also creating 20 different images using Leonardo.ai. Also this month I already am working really hard on hive.blog a web3 platform where my comments are monetized. I will be sharing more details about this web3.0 platform to my audience in the future as the best thing about this blogging platform is that it is a global one meaning no matter which country you belong to you can enroll and start earning right away. On hive.blog the mode of payment is via Hive crypto token and luckily for me it is listed in Binance, so it is very easy to withdraw payments from it.
