TOPIC: OBEDIENCE ALSO INVOLVES TRUSTING IN GOD'S TIMING AND PLANING

We may not always understand why certain things happen or why we are asked to do certain things, but we can trust that God has a purpose and a plan for our lives (Isaiah 55:8-9).

As we surrender our will to His, we can experience the peace that comes from knowing that He is in control.

It is important to remember that obedience is not just about following rules or regulations, but it is about having a heart that desires to honor and please God. As we seek to obey Him, let us do so with humility and gratitude for the love and grace He has shown us (Titus 3:3-7).

May our obedience be a reflection of our love for Him who first loved us (1 John 4:19). Obedience holds greater importance than isolated acts of service, religious observances, or external practices (1Sam .15 :22 ; I Cor .7 :19 ).

Pleasing God can only be achieved through obedience (1John3 :22 ).

Obedience requires a willingness to let go of our own desires and preferences, and to trust in God's sovereignty.

It can be challenging to surrender control, but when we do, we open ourselves up to experiencing the fullness of God's blessings and provision (Psalm 81:13-16).

In a world that values individualism and self-reliance, obedience to God can seem counter-cultural. However, as Christians, our ultimate allegiance is to Him above all else (Acts 5:29).

May we seek to honor Him through our obedience and may it be a testimony of His goodness and faithfulness in our lives.

Let us not forget that disobedience has consequences not only for ourselves but for those around us. Our actions have the potential to impact others in both positive and negative ways (Joshua 7:1-26).

May we strive for obedience out of love for God and love for others.

Ultimately, as followers of Christ, our ultimate allegiance is to Him above all else. May we seek to honor Him through our obedience and may it be a testimony of His goodness and faithfulness in our lives.
Growing in holiness requires obedience (Luke l:6) .

Obedience also extends beyond just spiritual matters, but encompasses all aspects of life such as honoring authority figures, being responsible stewards of resources, and treating others with love and respect (Eph 6:5-9; Titus 2:9-10; Col 3:23-24).

May we strive for obedience in all areas of our lives as an act of worship to God who deserves our utmost devotion.

In conclusion, obedience is essential for our relationship with God and for fulfilling His purposes in our lives. May we make daily choices to submit our wills to His and may our obedience be a reflection of our love for Him who loved us first (John 15:10).

OUR NIGHT PRAYER

let us pray that God Almighty should grant us His grace to implement the Word we heard tonight.

Let us also pray for guidance and strength to resist temptation and follow the path that is pleasing to Him. May our hearts be filled with love, compassion, and forgiveness towards others, as we strive to live a life that reflects His teachings.

Let us not forget those who are less fortunate than us and pray for their well-being and happiness. May this night prayer bring us closer to God and help us become better versions of ourselves.

Let us also pray that we may have the wisdom to discern His will and the courage to act on it. May we be able to share His love and light with others, especially those who are in need of hope and comfort. Let us ask for His protection over our families, friends, and loved ones, and for peace in our communities and in the world.

May this night prayer inspire us to live a life of purpose and meaning, serving Him with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength. Amen.

I appreciate your presence in this night prayer program. See you tomorrow morning if Jesus Christ tarries to come. Have a nice sleep.
