INTRODUCTION
I woke up earlier than usual, but my attempts to go back to sleep were in vain. Eventually, I rose at 6:30 am and summoned my wife for our morning devotional time with the Lord Jesus Christ. We engaged in spiritual reflection and discussed the topic I had previously shared. After enjoying the discussion, I posted it for others to read, as is our daily routine. Having shared my experiences with others yesterday, I intend to continue doing so today.
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
I received breaking news via WhatsApp from a friend, informing me of the upcoming public holiday from May 29th to May 31st, 2024, in remembrance of the civilians and soldiers who lost their lives in the proposed Biafran land from 1966 onwards. This period is recognized as "Biafran Day," and I have decided to take a break during these designated days.
Following our morning prayer, I submitted the devotional post my wife and I had discussed. I refrained from leaving immediately, as I was contemplating the content of my daily reflections.
My wife went outside to launder the clothes used during a recent burial ceremony. Engrossed in her task, she manually washed the garments, as we do not have a washing machine. Meanwhile, I ventured out in search of a water supply, appearing like an elderly man pushing a wheelbarrow full of water containers.
MORNING BREAKFAST
I just finished my morning meal, and it is already 10:30 am. If you are curious about the ingredients used, I suggest you inquire with my wife, who was preoccupied with the laundry.
I plan to visit various locations after abiding by the sit-at-home order. I will provide details about my excursions tomorrow.
CONCLUSION
Allow me to retire now, as I need to bathe and prepare for some rest. With the grace of God Almighty, I look forward to connecting with you again tomorrow. Goodbye!
