Hi Jazz how nice to see you here, no brainer to post some of your jewellery making on here if you're doing that already anyway!

I'm getting somewhere with the land - although initially I just cleared out a lot of the tinderbox material from the woodlands, which felt a bit alarming cutting things down, but now I'm trying to keep as much of the pioneer plants in place as I can.

Haven't done too much planting as I haven't got a water system sorted out yet, given the lack of rain this year I'm kind of glad I only plated 10 new fruit trees.

I did order a pump for the well, so that should help with watering, at least once I can figure out how to deal with Regocentro beyond just staring at all the many and varied water fittings and feeling bewildered.

I got a proper roof on the house too, going to finish that off properly in the coming months.

Although I still don't know what I'm doing TBH.... half the days I just end up wandering around thinking about what to do without actually doing anything!

But I'm in no rush
