I get the impression (back up by the comment below) that levelling is going to release unique characteristics, rather than just more quantity of whatever already existing characteristics.
I get the feeling that where Splinterlands is a maths/ science game at heart, this is more humanties - more about diversity and quality in its mechanics.
It's kind of ironic given that the former is fantasy and the later sci-fi!
It's all about those contract I agree, I'm a cautious investor and even I've bought 3 syndicates!
I must say I'm not that confident my Columbus will sell for $195, but then again it might end up being the Archmage Arius of the game, so you never know, someone might just be grabbing a bargain.
Also, Elindos manually creates all the accounts - so no bots possibly, another massive difference! And very welcome if you ask me.
