Greetings Pilots!
Please find below my strategy for evacuation to planet H24.
General synopsis is that this planet does not look suitable for long-term colonisation, but with the possibility of some decent mineral deposits, a drill-rig drop and go strategy is what we'll go for!
Because planet H24 doesn't look suitable for long-term colonisation, due to the lack of fertile land and close proximity to aliens on the sister planet (even if initially dormant), I'm opting for a well-armed rapid military vessel, that's going to make exploring for other planets as easy as possible.
Given the aliens next door a medical bay seems like a sensible option.
Besides this, I think factions cards make the most sense to equip the slots with, to give me as many options going forwards as possible.
I've gone for a couple of space pilots, as exploration is going to be the thing for this evac.
The Hacker, because I'm also going to focus on software development, which could help exploration, and in the absence of any real 'life' on the planet this seems like a sensible option.
Oxana will be useful to explore H24 for resources
The Killbot, mainly for evac.
Everyone that can will be equipped with a suitable suit!
It's all about the Techies and the Kumicho to keep everyone administratively in check!
I'm packing the computer room, protection walls, a turret and a dropship, my first drops will be the underground construction and lots of drilling machines.
I'll explain this further below...
I'll be relying on drops - the main things I think I'll be dropping on this planet are above.
I think we're pretty well set for evac - especially with the support squadrons which I haven't included above.
Plenty of people on hand to sort out the hyperdrive and hardpoints.
Once dropped, the Quantum carries onto the next location to find somewhere better to colonise.
Once we do, we'll come back for the tech expert, Oxana and the minerals.
I did toy with the idea of dumping off the two criminal computer experts, but I thought this could go a bit pear-shaped! I think I'll keep them under-guard for now!
