Raidering and Questing...
Both 30BASH and 20SLASH had a some successful raids for gear through the regular dungeons this week.
30SLASH managed to pick up a Maroon Samue which gives some nice stats bonuses, and he also managed an epic run through to floor 12 of the endless dungeon, picking up a ring that gives an 8 Agility stats boost...
20SLASH meanwhile, while still only a Level 6 raider managed to pick up a 'Bees Knees' weapon and in conjunction with the many sorcerer's cowls he's been picking up he can now hold his own (often with a potion needed) in Oglo's Demise (normal) which is allegedly for L9 Raiders, so he's a plucky Raider....
I didn't run our two new recruits this week, I've just left them questing for Grimweed and Eye of Newt.
Raiders News...
Raiders Land has felt a bit quiet this week, but a lot of work has been going on improving the tournaments arrangements, where Raiders can battle each other for rewards, an option I've decided to sit-out for now because the people who win ALWAYS have amazing gear, so it's just really about pure luck rather than skill.
There is a new format for the next tournament which is to submit a Level 0 RAIDER and then you have a certain amount of keys to run dungeons to level him up before the next paired tournament, so I'll keep an eye on this going forwards. For this one, you need a prior invite, so I might try and get in on the next one.
Recruitment windows for new generations of raiders have been put back from 30 to 42 days because of the Raider floor price dropping, something which should help prevent a devaluation spiral.
New Raiders Bonds have been introduced on Market XYZ- you can bond your Raider and borrow against it, and if you time it right, you get more Raider back as an incentive!
