What with the APR on HBDs recently increasing to 20% (NOICE) I thought I'd do a quick trawl of what kind of returns are on offer on Binance Smart Chain (BSC)
I think it's important to keep an eye on the rates on BSC as it's the main competition to the HBD interest rate IMO - ETH offerings are just low, we all know about Terra's 20% UST offering already, and then BSC is the next most accessible after that with a diverse array of stable coin offerings available at sensible fees..
I've selected some of the largest liquidity offerings and then something from lower down the order for contrast...
First off Pancake Swap, has some pretty pathetic offerings - with the decent coins only showing a 3-4% yield....
Secondly Alpaca Finance has a range of options which average out at around 7% going up to 10%...
Thirdly, [Stargate Finance] offers some single stable staking options at around 6%
It's funny, I'd never heard of this platform before, but it's now high up the rankings on BSC for TVL, but I'm not in the REMOTEST bit interested in parking any stables there at 6%!
Fourthly Knight Finance has some slightly better deals at around 8-13%
I quite like Knight Finance, they aim to onboard new users to DEFI through exposing them to stable yields rather than encouraging them to chasing the next 100 times coin!
Fifthly, Beefy Finance has an attractive 24% on its USDT-BUSD pool:
HOWEVER, almost 10% of that is 'boosted' and I can't find details in the information of how long the boost period will last, and I'm done with moving my coin around and some leaching off only to find two weeks later that I'd have been better off keeping it where it was!
Finally there's always the 4BELT pool on Cub Defi offering one of the best returns out there at 20% currently (although it was only 15% last week, so maybe that will go down, could be due to HBDs offering a better return?!?
It's amazing how under the radar are Cub Defi is for yields - I'm surprised more people aren't piling in!
If you're willing to risk your stables with some crazy defi coins, of course there are much better rates, but then the offerings stop being stable offerings!
Now that HBDs are paying out 20% I just can't see ANY attractive offers above.
What I've currently got staked in stables can stay where it is, as you know how it is - you ALWAYS loose a chunk when you move funds, but I'll be looking to stack my stables on Hive with HBDs from now on.
