Well here we are in August and it feels like it's September... honestly everything feels like it's so early... the corn is ready already, courgettes in full swing, tomatoes about to glut it feels like...

Courgettes

We've had loads of these, off three plants, getting them mostly young, and great on the barbeque, or even raw straight off the plant!

Sunflowers...

I mean, come on, pretty idyllic, right?!?

Artichoke...

We may have missed the eating window, but at least the flowers are nice!

Brocolli

Not sure how we managed to miss picking this, maybe just pealing back the netting was too much hassle!

Toms...

We are finally getting quite a few decent ones as of late July...

Corn....

Annoyingly the birds have now had a good chomp on about half of this, but we we got half ourselves, must net this next year.

Final thoughts...

Not too many posts left for this year, I can feel the autumn coming in already, harvest coming to an end, we have a few more bits to go in, but it's late to be planting now!

Still, we've had a pretty good year so far!
