Well if you're after collection power the earlier cards are certainly worth more.

Mind you if you're after a maxed deck, surely there's enough CP in the Chaos collection over all, maybe with a few golds thrown into the mix, to compete in Champions league?

(I don't actually know BTW, I've never calculated this!).

Just thinking longer term.
