I wanted to go in with a reasonably decent stake into Polycub, but without taking too much out of anything else in particular as I’m quite happy with all my various positionings.
As a result I ended up skimming various wallets and protocols, taking a few tens of dollars from here, a few hundreds from there, selling bits and pieces for the various pools I was intending to into on Polycub.
The main challenge I had was trying to scrape together enough Matic to match the 8000 LEO I’d steadily accumulated over the last few months specifically for Polycub.
And yes, I did start stacking ages ago, when LEO was pretty much as cheap as it’s been in the last year or so.
I already had some MATIC I’d scraped together, but only around 40 or so, and TBH I sort of surprised myself when I realised I had so much liquid LEO (most of which had been sitting in the LEO-ONEUP pool!
So, to get my MATIC I did the following:
Swapped:
- Nearly 2 LTC I had sitting around
- 100 SWIPE that had been doing nothing
- 0.5 BNB, all of which was just sitting around for fees.
- 100 Cub - not much for me in the grand scheme of things!
- Around $300 of stables, loathe though I was to do this!
Oh, I used [ANYSWAP], and I used the 'router' rather than the 'bridge' - I'm not even sure what the difference is, but it defaulted to the former and worked no problem....

I also took out some funds from my RAIDERS pools - 30% each from RAIDER-MATIC and ARUM-MATIC, these have decent returns, but I figure there will be a better return temporarily on PLEO-MATIC, if it drops below the raider pools I’ll simply transfer the MATIC back!
After jiggling I’d only managed to accumulate around 550 MATIC, which still wasn't enough to pool with the LEO I’ had, so I swapped some PLEO for MATIC and some for PCUB, which went into the PCUB for XCUB single asset pool.
Besides dredging for MATIC all I’ve had to do is to transfer over my stable coins, convert those to USDC, and transfer over some BTC-ETH for that paired pool, easy!
All in all it's been a good opportunity to consolidate and simplify my holdings, and enjoy some insane yields for a few days, and hopefully some GOOD yields over the coming months!
