Like the western nations pretty much all reacted after the imperial college released its report and going with the strategy of lockdowns. Which, from the getgo, was sure to take at least 18 months and we all knew that 18 months was extremly optimistic even if there wouldve been no ultieror motives.
In any case, it is quite scary how far people are willing to go. We are having nightly lockdowns in germany now, rambled a bit about that on my blog.
