Despite being an Arsenal fan, I went into that game very optimistic, especially after Kane grabbed a brace in the last game and United's capitulation against City.

I must confess that the game didn't really live up to expectations. Nonetheless, Spurs were the better side on the night, but we all know what counts if you want to win games.

I also think it was a bit of lack of concentration on Spurs' side, especially following that Maguire own goal. After going behind the first time, Spurs enjoyed better possession and played better which was why we saw those that chance that was cleared on the line by Dalot, before the eventually penalty. Spurs definitely failed to capitalize o the momentum that swung in their favour, not once, but twice.

I'm surprised to hear that Sonny isn't so much loved by the players like it seems. That's hard for me to believe. Yes, he might be having a bad run now but even at Spurs' lowest, he's always being the bright spot for the team, even when Kane was away injured. Maybe I feel this is too hard on Sonny. I'd gladly jump at him if Spurs would be willing to sell 😉
