I'm really happy for Newcastle and they seem to have turned that corner. January came at the right time for them and they made good use of it as can be seen of the signings made.

Many would have doubted their spending, especially paying such amount for somebody like Trippier, but he's already showing flashes of what he can bring to the table. Nonetheless, I think it may be to early to say whether they have done the best business.

I see them remaining a Premier League side next season.. They just need to better the results of teams below then and they'd be safe, then they can restart from the summer.
