I realized I was miss-taken in my initial assessment and definition of both "Freedom and Responsibility". It's been kind of an interesting revelation of sorts because "Freedom" and "Responsibility" quite naturally co-exist together in a complimentary mutual benefit that supports and enhances the best of each other. It's kind of new to me to look at my word relationships in this way where there's both an independence and interdependence.
What I really like about "Responsibility" is the practicality of the word in looking at it and exercising the living play of "Responsibility" as simply your "Response Ability". How we respond with our ability in the moment to direct our play/work. Seeing the common sense in this way makes it easier for me to make decisions about which reponse abilities I will create as the structures for myself to exercise/play/work with an unwavering enthusiasm and regard.
By creating Responsibilities for ourselves we have a structure in which we can creatively express ourselves. There's a real freedom in our capacity to manage responsibilities in our day to day living.
Our Responsibilities we live says a lot about who we are and the meaning we give and gift to our lives. There's a whole range of ways in which we can create responsibilities for ourselves, our environements, our communities and so the world at large.
Responsibility opens up enagement and creative collaboration because responsibility is about care taking and the care taking is an outflow of the care we have for ourselves and so the world. The freedom to express is the outflow of our practical living of our responsibilities. In many ways "Responsibilities" become the Structure that is possible to substanitate the building development of our best Life.
