"I can't take such chances like that again in my life" Jack said, looking at each of their faces, the moment the gang members tried to lure him into a bad practice.

He remembered how he suffered in prison, he was trying to balance his life, now he is out, never to do bad things, he didn't want anything to make him go back there, but he just wants to live with good works.

Back in prison, he starved to death every day, due to the starvation he had experienced, it gave him stomach pains.

He said this to people who wanted to cross to another extreme, but they could not listen to him and turned their backs on bad practices, rather they called him "a screwed up man, who is only afraid of getting rich."

Jack wasn't afraid of anything, he just didn't want to get in the wrong lane again.

Because every time he remembered what had happened there in the prison, he had to put his life on the right track.

It was only night there but here, he could see the sunlight, they treated him like an animal there but here he has his freedom.

He learned life the hard way and he didn't want to do anything wrong in his life again.

In the morning, Colina, the mother of the boy who allowed the bad gang to confuse him, asks Jack, "if he had any idea where her son might be."

Jack wanted to explain but at that moment a call came in on Colina's phone that her son is in police custody, she cried and said "how did they take him there?"

When Colina arrived at the station, she was only allowed to see her son for a few minutes, the police caught him with a rifle, while others ran away, he was among those who were caught.

The man who they entered his house by force, did not take the case well, he resubmitted it and took the case to court.

Pete was sentenced for robbery and trespassing, while the judge pronounced the sentence, tears fell from his eyes. The mother ran to hug him but now he was the property of the state, she was not allowed to touch him.

Colina cried and rolled on the ground, but the court did not had the judgment reversed, Jack blame himself for not being able to tell his friend Pete not to join the gang members when they approached.

Colina died of a heart attack because she couldn't control that her son is in jail, her life became unsafe.

She gave up that same morning, when her maid opened the door and saw her on the bed but she couldn't say anything else.

Pete found out, but no one gave him the freedom to see the outside world, they held his mother's funeral, but he didn't make it, he regrets letting strangers lure him into a bad gang.

That day his son enters the university, he sits him down before his son can get into the taxi that would take him to the school campus, so as not to have bad company.

Because he had learned the lesson when he was young that bad company can make a person lose his rightful place in the world.
