In life there are necessary things that we may lack, but even without them we could survive. Electricity may be lacking and although some things would be more difficult for us, we would be able to survive.
But if your life lacks a personal and intimate relationship with God, things can not go as well as you would like. From the computer we can disconnect, but we can not stop praying or reading the Bible because our spiritual life would dry up like a tree in winter.
Other things can not flow well no matter how much you want it if your spiritual senses are not awake. Because then we would not be able to notice important details that affect our environment. But when we open our hearts in a sincere and simple way. When we approach God with the transparency of being as we are, God inclines his ear and listens attentively and patiently to every detail and every thing we tell him. Because he loves us and cares about us.
But are we interested in God as much as he is interested in each one of us? We show that to you when we hunger and thirst for his presence. When we want to know his will, it is necessary that we go to his word, that we look for what the Scriptures say. When we eat daily from what his holy and blessed Word says, two things happen: 1. We learn to identify and discern his voice and 2. We know his will.
A few days ago, Brother Enrique wrote about the importance of not ceasing to pray. Prayer is the key that opens the doors of heaven. It is the most important and vital tool of the believer.
Once someone asked me if I thought that my prayer moved God or that he changed what he had already determined. I replied that yes! and mocked. But now I say as the saying: "it is true that ignorance is daring." Dear brother, our prayers with faith have power. The Bible verifies through many examples through the books that there are writings that there were prayers that made God work in a different way than he had said. Abraham interceded for his nephew Lot, Elijah prayed and fire came down, Joshua cried out and the sun stopped, Peter's mother-in-law healed instantly. Hezekiah had the opportunity to live a few more years of life. Many people were healed, liberated and some were resurrected because someone prayed.
Your prayer has power. Although not all prayers are always answered in the affirmative or at the moment we wait, God listens to us and knows what is best for us. But we must not forget that there are prayers that cause tremendous miracles and that in the spiritual world cause great changes.
Therefore, God desires that we speak to Him, that each day we approach him and open the windows of our souls and communicate what we think and feel because he is our best friend. DO NOT STOP PRAYING BECAUSE YOU WILL LOSE THE BLESSING OF KNOWING GOD MORE DEEPLY.
Do not stay on the shore, get closer to the depth, sail offshore.
