"Do not let yourself be overcome by evil; on the contrary, he overcomes evil with good "
(Romans 12:21 NIV)
Curse or punishment, it is in the thickest darkness, that I have had a personal encounter with God, where He has seen the nakedness of my soul and my true essence and even then, He has not rejected me but on the contrary, He has taken in his arms to whisper to me with the sweetest voice, that loves me.
I am a warrior, survivor of the most bloody battle a woman could have fought, seeing her family crumble without being able to do anything; but at the same time, experience the mercy of God, not only because he has granted me what I asked him in prayer, but because he was generous in restoring everything that had been taken away from me one hundred times.
It was in the darkness that I learned to value my life, to see myself in a mirror and recognize that I am a work of art of the Lord, I understood that I have a purpose to fulfill, I knew that I am important for God, I became strong not because of the innumerable falls , but for the countless times that I have had to get up and keep moving even if I do not understand what is happening around me; In the darkness, I met my helper, my savior, who illuminated my path and motivated me to dream, to believe, to try again and again and not to falter.
I had to hit bottom, to recognize the power of God in my existence. Leaving aside the little gods that ruled my life, toppling fortresses and defeating giants, before enjoying a new life, where blessings abound. I had to crash into the darkness, to stop fearing the unknown; allow me to lose, to win; to stop being what I wanted to be, to arrive at the place where He has brought me today, surpassing all expectations.
I did not surrender, I clung to the hope that he gave me and in return he rewarded me in the best way. I live for Him and for Him, and those who tried to kill my spirit and thought to harm me, did not succeed, because it was the Lord Himself, who transformed that evil into good (Genesis 50:20 NIV).
I love him and I never want to have a day without him again. He is everything to me. There is no more emptiness in my heart, I smile ... I have faith ... I believe him ... he is my king, my everything ... I am no longer afraid.
"The Lord will deliver me from all evil and preserve me for his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory for ever and ever. Amen".
(2 Timothy 4:18 NIV)
