A method of DIVINATION by studying the shapes of hands and lines on the hands. Palmistry is one of the oldest forms of divination. It is also known as chei- romancy or chiromancy, after CHEIRO, the pseudonym of “Count” Louis Harmon, a popular Irish fortuneteller of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
