What is school of minnows?

School of minnows applies the principal of a large group helping each other to STEEM. When you join the group, you receive votes automatically from any member who's voting power reaches 100% (that usually means idle for more than a day)

What if I'm not a minnow

You will receive your votes back in votes, which incentivises some support from larger members, we hope its a more ethical way to use voting power than renting delegation to paid voting agencies.

Are there any fair distribution policies for automatic votes?

Votes are distributed to the post with the most charitable user. The post who's user has given the most and received the least via votes is next in line for a vote. Simple. You will not receive any additional votes for posting more, you will however get refunded for all your votes, manual ones too, which of course happen organically. Only the recycling of voting power that would otherwise got to waste is subject to the policy.

Anything else?

You get resteemed at @schoolofminnows, and posts get manually curated and reviewed by other members. You'll get promoted at #post-promotion at steemPunks and the following tags will get you featured on #freedom-first in steemPunks if you're a member and its your first tag: dmania zappl live steempunks freedomfirst schoolofminnows

Do you blacklist/ignore posts?

Dmania and Zappl posts are featured in our steemPunks discord and not enlisted for automatic voting. We still track manual votes on those posts, so voting is considered supporting school of minnows. We do not track any posts that aren't in english. We do not track posts that are reported by cheetah or steemcleaners unless we manually add them.

What about security?

We do not keep your STEEM keys. We have an enrollment link that gives the system voting access for the idle vote recycling, no other access is needed, you can manually revoke access without our help using steemconnect.
