But life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus--the work of telling others the Good News about God's mighty kindness and love.
Apostle Paul took responsibility for the gospel. The gospel, to him was a sacred trust, he affirmed this when he said:
According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.(1 Timothy 1:11).
Even when the holy spirit expressly testified that he'd suffer severe afflictions and be imprisoned if he went to Jerusalem to preach (Acts 20:23),Paul remained resolute and focused. His response was ...none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear into myself, so that I might finish my course with joy,and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, go testify the gospel of the grace of God" (Acts 20:24).
Paul was an activist for the Gospel; he'd preach it even if it cost him his life. This should be your attitude. Do not be moved by the problems and the difficulties that you might face in preaching the gospel.
