This wall represents our history, culture, what the nation is thinking!
Yes, truly. This wall got painted differently from time to time. It's like an adventure to discover what is going on there...
You will get to see this art if you visit the University of Dhaka campus. Last Saturday I had a visit there.
As I was saying, from time to time the students of fine arts change its theme.
This time they painted our 'Father of Nation' to celebrate his 100th Birthday.
Isn't the painting amazing?
It used to be like this when the last time I saw it. It was rusty and really needed a new painting.
My son was wondering about seeing the huge piece of art. He knows who the man is on the wall and asked thousands of questions regarding that.
Right side of the wall
This is can be a nice background for photoshoots as well. What do you think?
This is just beside the Central Library of the campus, there's an open space on the right side as you can see. You can enjoy some tea and snacks there while hanging out with friends.
The left side of the wall also got some shadow/monochrome art. It represents the protest during our freedom fight.
Last Saturday, the campus was nearly empty. We roamed around the whole area, enjoyed the campus food, sat there for a while to have some fresh breath, and had a lot of fun seeing the greenery.
Have a Happy Weekend ahead!
