Hello Everyone!
Happy Weekend
Another Saturday is here. I hope you are enjoying your Holiday. I'm something like recovering myself after this long tiring week. And it sometimes feels exhausted when I have to wait in the traffic. The road hours kills a huge amount of time. It's a terrible feeling, you know especially this summer.
My working place is near my house, it's only about 30 minutes' walking distance. But, if I take a vehicle it takes almost an hour to reach home because of the huge traffic during the pick hours. So, I sometimes walk back if I see high traffic on the road.
Don't feel wired, okay; it's Dhaka- a city with the most indiscipline traffic rules. These pictures are more or less common in every area of this city. Roads are full of vehicles and footpaths are full of humans. Using a private vehicle is like a nightmare here. But still we love our country, this city. This city is like our home!
I took this picture from a nearby Doctor's chamber. I was there for my doctor's appointment. As I had to wait for an hour so I was looking around and observing how the traffic was moving. You can see one side of the road is stuck and after the signal another side will be like this. This was not even the pick hour, after office hours this scenario become much worse.
It feels really terrible but we have very little to do with it. I know traffic jam is something like a global problem. But we really need something effective. The government is introducing 'Metro rail' in the next year. I hope this situation will be a little better after that. Hope for the best!
