My balcony became the only place during this pandemic where we can take a fresh breath. As I have a mini balcony garden so we have a nice visual with greenery and different flowers. I usually love to plant seasonal flowers. Some of my plants died and I couldn't buy any new plants for a few months because of the lockdown. The other day, I visited a flower nursery near my house which is reopened just a few days ago and I took the change to decorate my balcony again!
So I brought a white Moss rose plant with me!
This is how it looks like now!
Who doesn't love white flowers? They are beautiful, dress and seems peaceful to me. I bought the plant without any pot as I had a lot of old leftover pots in my house. So I'm sharing how I plant it in my pot.
This is how the plant was, in a plastic bag. The soil was good enough though I had to use some homemade natural fertilizer later.
So what I did, I carefully remove the plant with the roots from the bag and put in in my pot. As the pot I choose was not big enough so I had to separate the plant and plant a portion of it into the pot. It was an experiment to see if this tiny plant can be used to plant moss rose or plants like this.
Also, I use another large pot to plant the major portion!
And, it's done!
I used jute made pot hanger to decorate my balcony.
It's been ten days I guess to plant it. The unfortunate thing is, the large pot comes with many flowers but the small one doesn't. So I guess I shouldn't use that small pot to plant thought there are many buds showing their sign, let's see what happen!
This one is already starting to flower. Is not it beautiful?
My son really love to water them. Also as he see me photograph the beauty so he was trying to copy me and was using his toy mobile to photograph them! Kids, huh!!
