I guess everyone knows the lyrics. I listen to this song uncountable times. It made me sad every time just like others. So whenever I feel less motivated or find a low result compared to my expectation, this song plays in my mind unknowingly like a background music. Wired, no?
So, I was asking myself about things; does it really matter? And you know what, I believe it really matters.
Life is a strange journey. We meet so many people, some of them become very close to us, some of them makes a scar on our heart, some become stranger after years.
I was thinking about how I waste my time on people who don't add any value, not anymore. So should I call my journey a wrong one? Would it be right to say I spend time with wrong people?
NO!
I think it's an experience. Every experience teaches us many things. And just like many other experiences; good or bad, people come and go in our life. It's a journey that will continue but adds something. Now, it's actually up to us what to learn, what to avoid, what to remember.
It's okay for me to choose the wrong thing, sometimes, because it happens. But it's necessary to sort out what's needed and choose to be with it.
So, in the end this journey actually matters!!
There's saying in our native Bangla "সোনা পুড়িয়ে খাঁটি হয়". It means our struggle makes us stronger & pure. Just like that, this journey, this experience makes us a better human if we choose our learning wisely.
And this is not just a about what examples I'm using here. It's about everything, our whole perspective. If you are working on a project and failed; it doesn't only mean you waste your time, money and other things. Rather and most importantly it's about the learning, how you gonna interpret this learning that matters most.
People say that 'every saint has a past' right? So, don't feel guilty about your past. Our life and experience matters, to us, for others. Believe in it!!
