This is a follow up post to the my Weekend Engagement post last week!
To recap, the three statements were:
No.1: I started wearing glasses when I was 4 years old.
No.2: I am allergic to dog fur.
No.3: I can't drive.

And the final answer is...
No.2 is indeed the lie!
This happened more than a decade ago when I was in my 20s. There was a period where I was coughing intermittently for around 6 months - I had seen both clinic doctors and traditional Chinese physicians and none of their prescriptions worked. In the end, I sought help from a ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat) specialist and he suggested that I do an allergy test. It was then I found out that I was allergic to quite a few things, including dust mite and dog fur, and they were the likely causes for my persistent cough.
Actually the entire story was true, just that the allergy test revealed that I was allergic to dust mite, cat fur, and interestingly cockroaches as well. No issues with dog fur hehe! I had no issues with plants too (some people do).
If you are wondering how the test was conducted, based on what I could recall, they will drip different drops of liquid onto your arm and you are supposed to keep your arm still for some time (10 minutes?). If one is allergic, the skin will have a minor reaction, e.g. a small bump or redness. The bigger the bump (I think), the more severe the allergy. My biggest bump was for dust mite.
