You鈥檙e in the shower or bath; what is the first part of yourself you wash and why? When you exit the shower or bath, what is the first thing you dry and why? Bonus points for your photos. 馃槆
This is one of the weeks that I probably am able to write something less serious!
For me, it's not so straightforward because there are two answers. The first body part that water hits is actually my feet, because I always like to do a quick test of the temperature of the water to make sure it is neither too hot or too cold. So when all is good (after all the adjustments), I begin washing from the top, starting from my hair. Thereafter, my face and then the rest of my body. Pondering about it now, there's actually no particular reason why the sequence is as such. I guess it's just a habit.
Speaking of the shower experience, let me digress to my favourite brand of shampoo and body wash. As you can see from the photo below, it's Aesop. I actually discovered them during one of my stays at a 5-star hotel and I really enjoyed the scent! But let me clarify, I don't use them on a daily basis because they are very expensive! Usually, an average set of shampoo and body wash at the stores is good enough for me - but there are days when I am feeling tired or down and these scents (e.g. cedarwood, geranium) do provide an uplifting effect to my mood.
Another weekly/fortnightly routine of mine would be the body scrub, which clears away all the dead skin through exfoliation. It's from Bath & Body Works and my favourite series is the Stress Relief one, where eucalyptus and spearmint are the main scent. Their pricing is slightly above average (but definitely less pricey than Aesop, hehe!) and I add them to my cart whenever they have sales.
Finally, the shower ends. Predictably, the first part that I dry would be my hair. Similar to the washing sequence, it's top to bottom.
That's all I have! And I have 2 photos! Anything further, you will have to imagine! Lol!
Thanks for reading and have a pleasant weekend ahead!
