You're receiving a single package in the mail this weekend and in it is whatever you would like. Tell us in at least 400 words, what you would like to be in that package and why. What do you do with it and how it may impact upon your life? You can choose something that is alive or an inanimate object.
My first thought was cold hard cash! Maybe a million dollars or something. Then again, I didn't think it was realistic since cash wasn't something that would be sent in a mail package.
So after giving some thought, I think I would be happy if I received a laptop in the package!
My current laptop has been more than 4 years old now. Not only is it getting slower by the day, a small part of the screen was damaged two years ago when I wasn't careful in handling it. The reason why I haven't actually bought a new one to replace this one is because it is still usable. As long as it works and I am able to use it for my daily needs, I think it's fine and I don't need to spend money to get a new one (yet).
To be honest, I am quite contented what I have and I am not really into luxury goods. For me, stuff that are practical are more useful and I think a laptop fits that category because I use it everyday! In case you are wondering what do I do on my laptop, some of the stuff include reading and posting on Hive, playing Splinterlands, checking my emails, watching Youtube and reading news. I know most of these things can also be done on a mobile device, but I feel that the experience is not as optimal especially if I am working on spreadsheets of data or need to switch between various tabs in the browser. (Of course, when I am on the move, then I have to resort to my mobile device, hehe!)
As to how it may impact my life, I don't think a new laptop is particular life-changing. Haha. Compared to current old one, I think it would be a better user experience given the hardware would be better and perhaps the screen might look better too. And maybe some time savings during the startup and opening of applications. So I guess I could say it's more of a small upgrade to my simple life. And that's good enough for me! :)
